Eurovision 2007

The Eurovision Song Contest is an annual competition held among active member countries of the European Broadcasting Union. Each country submits a song to be performed on live television and then casts votes for the other countries' songs to determine the most popular song in the competition. It has been broadcast every year since 1956 and is one of the most-watched non-sporting events in the world with between 100 million and 600 million watching internationally.

My mate Rosie decided to have a Eurovision party a few months ago so we all dressed up in our best kaftans and headed down there... (we thought it was safer to get a cab, Naomi would have scared small children in this outfit). Claire even managed to colour co-ordinate her shoes !!Sue, dressed by Claire, with hair & make up by Naomi... Kasia was rooting for Poland....Billie & Rosie are excited by the array of costumes that feature this year...

Throughout the night we were each given a country as part of a sweepstake. There were more than just the winners on screen that night....
