AND THE WINNER IS.....SYDNEY

I went to Sydney last week to visit some friends. Whilst it was good to see all the usual Australian iconic images in place... What was really nice was seeing the Aboriginal flag flying next to the Australian flag at the top of the Harbour Bridge...
All that aside, the most exciting thing I saw was DOUBLE DECKER TRAINS !!! I mean, how cool is that !! Upstairs, downstairs and even a middle level if you're indecisive like me.....it's just brilliant. I spent at least a good 10 minutes trying to work out if all the Tubes in London could have an extra layer on top (sorta like a double decker bus, but underground, and with a roof om top) but then figured that the tunnels wouldn't exactly accomodate...unless they dug downwards....hmmmm, anyway - I bravely made my way across the city with just the bag on my back and my first stop was lunch with Jackie....it was really lovely to see her, but we didn't win the Jackpot...
