I spent the Sunday afternoon in Oxford St with a very cool mate of Naomis called Jen. Oxford St is an interesting place, not like London’s Oxford St at all – more like Brixton High Street if anything – lots of random mad people. Luckily my London living experience has prepared me for anything so when a 30 year old bloke wearing a 40’s style army helmut and kitted out in full army gear patted me on the back and told me he “did it for his country” I just smiled politely, gave him “good on ya mate” and kept walking.
