FLASHBACK #1 - A beach, somewhere in Ireland, 1998

I had only been living in London for a few months when my sister Libby & her husband Ian moved to the gorgeous Killkenny in the Republic of Ireland. It was winter 1998 and I thought it might be nice to go and pay them a visit. I then decided to take a friend with me, then another and another and another, until finally all 5 of us jumped on the plane (well except for Danni who someone managed to miss it) to Dublin and drove down to stay with Lib & Ian. Ian put up with 6 women (4 of whom were strangers) in his house for 3 days - the man has the patience of a saint..... Anyway - we went off exploring one day and decided we wanted to go to the beach. I think it was about 2 degrees and god know what with the wind chill factor, I just recall losing feeling in my fingers and then deciding that maybe it was time to go back to the car...
