Mel & Jason's Wedding

One of the weddings I went back to Brisbane for was that of Mel & Jason's who I used to live with over here in Wimbledon for many years. Mel originally met Libby back in Mt Isa where they both taught together but then she quickly became friends with the whole McGregor family ! They got married on the beach near Currimbin and it was really lovely....

Murray gets his best nappy on for the special occassion (dressed by Grandma)...

Tash, Isla and I waiting for the Bride to arrive...

Isla borrows her Mum's scarf to keep warm with the cool breeze blowing off the beach...And finally - a bride ! But not just any bride - this bride was special, like no other bride before her....

She was special because she wore trainers !
I think she pulled it off though and Jason seemed very impressed....May they live happily ever after...Dunk Tash Isla and I did a spot of kite flying on the beach in the middle of the service and the reception...(I think the adults enjoyed the kite flying a bit more than Isla - she seemed more interested in a piece of driftwood she found !)
And then it was back for the reception...
